FUNCTION OVER FORM…

Solid Forms is rooted at the intersection of science and visual aesthetics: a belief that structure isn’t just physical. It’s emotional. By understanding form with the same precision as the natural sciences, each space becomes not only designed, but functional and beautiful.

My University background in the Sciences allowed me to see the world through structure. Such as the way molecules organize, the way matter shifts from one state to another, and how form influences function long before we even perceive it.

An ice cube is still water, yet its structure transforms how it looks, feels, and even tastes. The composition stays the same, but the form changes everything.

Interior design works the same way.

A space can hold similar elements of light, materials, or volume, yet the way those elements are shaped determines the entire experience. Curves versus angles or solids versus voids, softness against rigidity… these “forms” quietly dictate emotion, atmosphere, and identify style.

… AND FORM OVER FUNCTION

Forms are everywhere—shaping the way we see and feel a space. Every piece of furniture, every detail, every vessel, decor piece, artifact of travel, artwork and structural component has a shape and form. From small elements like a lamp base to grand structures like mansion pillars, the shape and form of each object influence how a space is experienced.

Designing a stunning home becomes effortless when you know how to blend colors, textures, and styles. With the right shapes and forms, your space transforms into a luxurious, refined, and deeply personal haven—beautiful to look at and even better to live in. Let your home become a place that inspires comfort, joy, and everyday happiness
